Fresh South Easterly and Easterly wind forecasts meant we were able to leave Holy Island on The Sunday.

This is the first time we have got away on a Sunday so far on a leg. The crew had safety briefings and then found out what happens when things go wrong, when we responded to a call for help to a vessel 2 miles out.

We were able to identify it was the vessel that the coastguard were looking for and stay with it until the RNLI arrived to tow it back.

An overnight sail to Douglas (Isle of Man) ensued with arrival at the harbour 09.30am on bank holiday Monday.
